This course focused on the dilemma we are currently facing, during a time of pandemic, within the space of schools, specifically primary school; and on finding creative architectural solutions for educational facilities that both bring technological solutions to creating healthy learning environments and expand the framework of the traditional classroom by creating enhanced indoor/outdoor, open and active learning environments. Schools have historically been ripe for experimentation and development of how architectural space can improve our health and wellness-both physiological and psychological, our behaviors, and our understanding of the world and ability to acquire knowledge.
